Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift (3 x 12‑hour rotations, 7pm–7am, rotating weekends) – 501 Redmond Rd NW, Rome, GA 30165.
Compensation & Benefits- Base pay: $35 per hour (minimum pay); pay range $30.40–$49.93.
- Sign‑on bonus: $15,000 up to 20% differential of total base pay.
- Work schedule:

- Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Set patient‑centered goals and prioritize patient needs.
- Create detailed, individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive care.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust care plans.
- Assess patient health to identify needs and changes.

- Educate patients on health management and preventive care.
- Administer medications correctly per age group for all populations served; follow policy.
- Demonstrate proficient technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment on the unit.
- Perform daily rotational task assignment as directed.
- Supervise nursing assistants in basic nursing functions, ensuring cultural needs are met.
- Demonstrate safe patient ambulation and transfers; manage bed‑fast and incontinent patients every two hours.
- Serve as a preceptor when necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including charge RN, other RNs, and physicians.
- Document and communicate patient data clearly and promptly.
- Collaborate on care plan input and prioritize interventions.
- Recognize emergency codes, infection control, life safety, and fire plan protocols; supervise nursing assistant staff during events.
- Use computerized physician order entry and electronic medical record system.
- Monitor EHR for new orders and results.
- Provide education to patients and families from admission through discharge; document response.
- Understand hospital policies, procedures, and legal aspects of acute care nursing.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Have basic computer skills, including experience with an EHR.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing – required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – required.
- 1+ year of current clinical experience – preferred.
- 2+ years of hospital experience – preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) – required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required.
- Certified Med‑Surg Nurse (CMSRN) – preferred.
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) – preferred.
- Acute/Critical Care Nursing – Adult (CCRN) – preferred.
