Job Overview

Essentia Health – Fargo is hiring new graduate Registered Nurses (RNs), with an emphasis on transition and residency program support.

• Registered Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program
• Current or upcoming graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Beginning first RN position within one year of graduation

Current nursing licensure in the state of employment required upon hire.

Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.

• Transition to Practice Support with comprehensive assistance
• NCLEX Study Support resources and guidance
• Enrollment in a structured Nurse Residency Program including mentorship and advanced training
• RN Hiring Incentive financial bonus

• Lead Patient Care: manage all phases of the patient care process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
• Guide and Delegate: act as a team leader, delegating care responsibilities according to licensure, training, and role specifications
• Contribute to the facility’s mission and goals
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and applicable regulatory standards

A year‑long professional development program for new graduate RNs to transition from novice to competent professional nurses. Outcomes include enhanced clinical judgement, decision‑making, leadership skills, application of evidence‑based practice, and a strengthened commitment to nursing.

• Hourly pay: $37.10 – $55.65
• Weekly hours: 72 per pay period (12‑hour shifts)
• Shift rotation:
  Day (7:00AM – 7:30PM) / Night (7:00PM – 7:30AM)
• Every second or third weekend
