Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering
Location:
Redmond, WA
Schedule:
First Shift (approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week
Duration: 18-Month Contract
Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering to join our team in Redmond, WA. This role is ideal for a quality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is passionate about driving quality and compliance excellence.
The successful candidate will support quality assurance activities across a variety of initiatives, including document reviews, nonconformance investigations, quality issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Support quality assurance processes and quality system activities.
* Review and approve quality documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
* Investigate nonconformances and quality issues, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality objectives are met.
* Manage multiple quality-related priorities and projects simultaneously.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and risk-based decision-making activities.
* Support regulatory and compliance-related activities as needed.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to support quality system requirements.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree required;
Engineering degree strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant quality engineering, quality assurance, or related experience.
* Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and independently.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Project management experience.
* Experience working in regulated industries.
* Experience supporting compliance-related investigations and risk assessments.
* Experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
* Background in medical device, aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated environments.
