Pay & Benefits- Hourly wage: $27.75–$29.00 per hour ($57,720–$60,320 per year based on a 40‑hour work week)

The Assistant Store Manager role is a developmental position toward becoming a Store Manager. Successful performance and readiness can lead to a Store Manager role within 12–18 months. Tuition scholarship opportunities are available through the Oregon State University eCampus.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals by driving sales and ensuring outstanding customer experiences.
- Use reporting and feedback tools to inform decisions, track progress toward goals, and identify areas for performance improvement.
- Create and maintain a positive team culture through active coaching, clear communication, and sound judgment.
- Contribute to employee development by providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance recognition.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and staffing to maintain coverage and performance standards.
- Manage daily coffee shop operations, including inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and labor standards.
- Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience in the food service or related industry.
- Open availability and adherence to management scheduling guidelines (40 hours per week).
- Ability to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Legal eligibility to work in the country where the location is based.
- Minimum age of 18 years or older.
- Physical ability to perform various tasks required by the role. (See Physical Requirements)
