$25.00 to $29.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus contributing to a major portion of their total yearly income.

Description

We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for day‑to‑day operations of the store, promoting a positive, productive environment in adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops store employees; recruits and retains top talent.
  • Maximizes financial goals and manages Customer Relations and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Analyzes shop financial statements to meet financial goals, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintains asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, and securing customer loans.
  • Promotes the store and targets new customer acquisition using internal and external marketing tools.
  • Facilitates a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing customer issues.
  • Directs daily operations, talent management, training, team building, and employee development.
  • Recruits top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
  • Performs opening and closing procedures, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
  • Administers store processes (inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, bank deposits, FSC reporting).
  • Handles pawn, buy, and retail transactions, lifting, carrying, and securing customer merchandise.
  • Evaluates store financial statements and drives profitability through communication and goal setting.
  • Ensures operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitors loan qualification and buy processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans.
  • Completes assigned tasks and undergoes training as requested.
  • Communicates clearly to employees about store mission, profit objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Stays current on product knowledge.
  • Conducts inventory transfers and remote bank deposits.
  • Partners with Human Resources to administer progressive discipline.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 18 years of age (21 in Washington).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to supervise others and previous people‑management experience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to serve customers.
  • High energy sales personality with knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, excellent work ethic, strong business sense.
  • Computer literate and able to use common office machines.
  • Ability to become certified to work with firearms and become a Responsible Person for a Federal Firearms License as needed.
  • Team‑oriented and keen to work with people.
Work Location

Primarily indoors; may be asked to assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Work Postures and Physical Demands
  • Standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling as needed.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds (occasionally 70 pounds).
  • Use of carts or dollies when available; no tools are used regularly.
  • Occasional use of jeweler’s tools or power tools.
  • Work hours:

    40+ hours a week, based on business needs.
Definitions

Occasional = 20% of time or less;
Frequent = 20‑50% of the time;
Continuous = 50% of the time or more.
