Equipment Rental Specialist

Inside Sales Representative

Equipment Rental Specialist role supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. The role is the company’s front line of contact with the customer, responsible for understanding equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and delivering customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times. Successful completion of the DOT qualification process is preferred.

• Understand customer equipment needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and place orders via telephone and in person.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
• Perform administrative tasks related to sales and order processing.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on open orders.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment.
• Previous equipment rental industry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Successful completion of DOT qualification process preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations.

Account Manager, Rental Sales, Parts Sales, Service Manager, Customer Service Representative, Construction Manager, Tools Manager, Counter Sales Representative, Equipment Associate, Manager Trainee, Skilled Craftsman, Brand Ambassador.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
