Role Overview Our client is exploring, innovating, and designing novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. A team of researchers is evaluating interaction techniques and user interfaces to improve human experiences. We are seeking a Research Assistant to join the team and support human subject research studies.

Key Responsibilities
* Stage, set up, and manage equipment and lab spaces for experiments.
* Conduct experiments, including collecting informed consent, running protocols, and handling confidential data.
* Perform data annotation and create basic reports.
* Conduct literature reviews on various research topics.
* Assist with recruiting and scheduling experiment participants.
* Help with experimental design, documentation, and provide feedback.

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** A Bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, engineering, or a related research area.
*
* Experience:

** A minimum of three years of professional experience, with at least one year working in a research environment involving human subjects.
*
* Skills:

** Strong communication, interpersonal, and personal management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience analyzing data and/or designing research protocols.
* Experience collecting user interaction data and working with related technical equipment (e.g., inertial sensing with IMUs, optical sensing, EMG).
