As a  Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required  in  Redmond, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report unusual conditions, suspicious behavior, and/or equipment issues in accordance with site protocols.
Support emergency and after-hours operations by assisting with evacuations, securing incident areas, and maintaining a visible presence during shifts in varied indoor and outdoor environments.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
