Field Service Technician - Level 2

Road Mechanic

The Road Mechanic performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms and general construction tools, with some locations also housing large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑and‑gas equipment.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; 21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities you may rely on:

• May need to provide mechanic's tools of trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $27.65 - $38.02 per hour.
