Construction Materials Testing Technician Responsibilities

Perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.

• 1+ year of soil and concrete testing experience
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification
• Radiation safety training for operation of a nuclear density gauge
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and/or Live Scan fingerprinting as required
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Any ICC certifications

• Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient with a computer and general knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and photo management software
• Ability to learn and grow with technological demands pertaining to daily field reports and field data

Hourly range: $21.09 – $35.22. Includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, certification cost reimbursement, hourly incentive and bonus program, reimbursement for certification renewals and jurisdictional certifications, and paid travel and mileage from home office to and from project sites.
