We’re seeking a hands‑on Embedded Systems Engineer with deep expertise in low‑level software, firmware development, and end‑to‑end pipeline integration. This role focuses on building platform‑independent diagnostic and telemetry capabilities for next‑generation wearable and smart‑glasses devices. You’ll work across the entire stack—primarily in low- and mid-level layers—to deliver scalable, device‑agnostic embedded solutions under fast-paced timelines.
Required Skills & Experience Core Technical Skills- Strong embedded systems expertise
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Hands‑on experience developing at the SW/FW integration layer
- Ability to work across the stack, with emphasis on low/mid‑level system components
- Experience with build systems for compiling and managing complex projects
- Familiarity with code generation tools and automation workflows
- Understanding of debugging and diagnostic systems including:
- Telemetry
- Crash analysis / core dumps
- Experience working with full end‑to‑end pipelines
- Ability to gather requirements and create detailed implementation plans
- Strong communication for providing status updates
- Android OS or Bluetooth development experience
- Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers and RTOS
- Background in AR/VR
, smart glasses, or wearable ecosystems - Knowledge of telemetry filtering or event‑level data systems
- Telemetry Framework Development:
- Architect and deploy a unified telemetry system that supports multi‑platform wearable devices.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for telemetry, logging, and diagnostics across hardware and software environments.
- Develop and refine embedded features at the software/firmware boundary, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end system behavior.
- Implement command-line utilities for telemetry control, firmware validation, and development workflows on both prototype and production hardware.
- Build filtering APIs to control telemetry event routing and log-level access across CLI and firmware environments.
- Cross‑Stack Integration:
- Deliver consistent diagnostic and logging capabilities across device families in the wearable/AR ecosystem.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, contribute to backlog planning, and participate in regular stand‑ups to maintain delivery velocity.
