Software Development Engineer – Automation (Type Script / Playwright)

Location:
Redmond, WA (onsite)

Duration: 1 year with possibility to extend

for only USC and GC

Order to Cash experience is must.

Software Development Engineer – Automation to support Clients Project Kuiper eCommerce and provisioning platforms. This role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with advanced automation design to validate mission‑critical order‑to‑cash and ISP workflows.

You will build scalable automation frameworks, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and partner with platform teams to ensure reliability and quality across Kuiper systems.

• Design and develop automation frameworks using Type Script and Playwright
• Build automated tests for UI and API‑based systems
• Develop components, services, and data models supporting automation
• Collaborate with satellite, network, and security engineering teams
• Translate complex finance, legal, and tax requirements into testable automation
• Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and system health dashboards
• Troubleshoot failures and improve long‑term system reliability

• 4+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship)
• 3+ years of experience in system design and architecture
• Strong experience with Type Script and Playwright
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with JSON
• Hands‑on AWS experience and cloud‑native development skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks

• Experience with AWS services such as Dynamo
  
  DB, Step Functions, ECS
• 3+ years working across the full SDLC (design through operations)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
