Software Database Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Database Engineer 1 to join their team. As a Software Database Engineer 1, you will be part of the Data Team supporting SQL performance testing and system optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Validate SQL performance on new hardware and software releases
• Identify regressions and ensure system performance stability
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Run performance tests and analyze results to generate detailed reports
• Perform scripting using Power Shell or C/C# to support testing processes

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field
• At least 2 years of experience with programming in C, C#, or Power Shell
• Experience with Windows OS environment
• Foundational knowledge of computer science principles
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
