As a Software Design Engineer in Test 3, you will be part of the Windows Storage and File Systems support team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing testing infrastructure for storage components. Software Design Engineer in Test 3 - Location:
Redmond, WA (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week onsite) - Pay Range: $53.67 - $59.06 on Experis W2 (Benefits/401k/PTO)
- Required Skills:
C, C++, Power Shell; 3 years in experience
- Develop, implement, and document comprehensive testing activities for storage system components
- Debug and fix legacy tests, reducing test noise and improving test accuracy
- Identify, analyze, and document product and test bugs, ensuring timely resolution
- Convert older testing frameworks into modern platforms to enhance testing efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and infrastructure
- Minimum of three years of experience with C and C++ programming
- Proficiency in Power Shell scripting
- Strong understanding of data structures and software testing methodologies
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems
- Knowledge of storage systems is preferred but not mandatory
