Senior Systems Software Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Software Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This role focuses on building and owning systems-level software that interfaces directly with security-focused hardware deployed at scale within a global cloud environment. The ideal candidate will work hands‑on with server hardware, develop core components, and drive reliability and performance of systems used in production.

Design, develop, and validate security‑related hardware and software systems across Windows and Linux server environments.

Build and maintain automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.

Troubleshoot complex system‑level issues and perform deep debugging across hardware and software layers.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to review designs, analyze test results, and document findings.

8+ years of experience in C development, with additional experience in Python for automation.

8+ years of experience developing and validating server or data center hardware systems.

2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure Dev Ops.

Strong experience with systems‑level development across Windows Server and Linux environments.

Proven ability to design, execute, and automate validation and testing processes.

Experience with debugging complex hardware/software interactions and performance issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.
