Software Development Engineer In Test

TEKsystems is seeking a full-time Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead manual and automated testing efforts for the Lumen

X programming solution, a next-generation device programming platform combining a Windows-based C#/.NET host application with embedded firmware running on standalone programmer hardware. The SDET will drive product validation, develop automation frameworks, execute comprehensive testing across software and hardware, and collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, and software engineers to ensure high-quality, mission-critical production software. This role is onsite in Redmond, WA, supporting hands-on lab testing and hardware validation.

Experience with WPF, and the broader .NET ecosystem
Familiarity with test frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit and pytest

Experience with Flash Memory/Micro Controller Communication Protocols (NAND, NOR, eMMC, SPI flash)
UI automation tools:
Win App Driver , Appium (Windows desktop), or Coded UI
Lab instrumentation experience: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, bench power supplies

Experience with Git, Azure Dev Ops, and defect tracking (Jira or Azure Boards)
Agile/Scrum sprint-based delivery experience
Web development experience (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, modern frameworks, REST APIs)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
