LocationOnsite/Redmond, WA
Typical DayThe role will consist of integrating simulation environments and benchmarking robotics models (~30-40%), training and evaluating models (~20%), and resolving technical issues such as debugging, patching, and supporting customer tickets (~50%).
Job DescriptionThe AI Engineer
- Robotics is responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining AI and machine learning models in support of Embodied AI and Robotics research.
A candidate familiar with training robotic models such as vision‑language‑action models, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning policies and with either simulation environments or robotic hardware for system integration.
Job Responsibilities- Fine‑tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects
- Architect, design, and implement our test automation infrastructure
- Develop training and evaluation pipelines using Azure Machine Learning
- Analyze and refine training datasets for robotic and AI applications
- Develop tools to provide fast deployment of novel algorithms in simulation and on hardware
- Integrate robotic control and perception stacks with simulation frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required
- 2-4 years’ experience required
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Experience with using simulation environments or robotic hardware
- Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
- Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
- Background in machine learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or Py Torch
- Minimum 2 years' experience with Python
- Minimum 2 years' experience with Py Torch
- Minimum 2 years' experience with ROS2
$83,000 - $86,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
