UEFI / Firmware Engineer (Mid‐Level | 4–5 Yrs)
Location:
Redmond, WA
We are seeking a hands‐on UEFI / Embedded Firmware Engineer to support firmware development, platform bring‐up, and system stabilization for modern computing platforms. The role involves close collaboration with hardware, validation, and cross‐functional teams to deliver production‐ready firmware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate, and maintain UEFI, MCU, and embedded firmware (C/C++)
- Support new platform bring‐up and early hardware enablement
- Debug system‐level firmware, performance, and stability issues
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and silicon partner teams
- Deliver high‐quality firmware fixes aligned with release schedules
Required Skills:
- 4–5 years of hands‐on UEFI / low‐level firmware development
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
- Experience with MCU firmware, BSP integration, and OS/driver interactions
- Ability to debug complex HW–FW–SW integration issues
- Familiarity with source control, build systems, and CI workflows
Preferred:
- Platform bring‐up experience (consumer or commercial devices)
- Exposure to firmware validation or test automation
- Comfortable working in onsite or hybrid environments
