We are building transformational experiences in Copilot notebook and looking to hire a full-stack 
** Software Engineer II**  in the One Note Cloud Experiences team. The problems we solve include running services that power One Note at scale, building a multitude of grounding capabilities, creation of richer artifacts, and building agent support on top of Copilot notebooks. We plan to build these experiences at scale across all web and mobile platforms and will continue to use the best-in-class infrastructure that boosts developer productivity and engineering velocity.

** Responsibilities*
* + Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.

+ Drive the identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product area.

+ Lead by example and mentor others to produce quality results leveraging Agentic Engineering.

+ Leverage subject-matter proficient of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.

+ Act (at times i.e. in rotation) as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI)

+ Guide other engineers working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.

+ Remain current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, usability, observability, and performance of products.

+ Leverage the work of others, including the work of peers, of internal Microsoft solutions, and of open-source and industry solutions, to avoid reinventing the wheel.

* Required Qualifications:

* + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

+ OR equivalent experience.

* Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

** Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
