• Safely and efficiently load and unload building materials from the commercial motor vehicle.
• Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads.
• Plan and optimize routes for delivery efficiency.
• Follow delivery procedures, including taking photos of delivered shipment after completion.
• Maintain yard, warehouse, and vehicle cleanliness during the course of work.
• Keep the truck supplied, organized, and clean.
• Check load for accuracy and proactively manage job site conditions for the next delivery.
• Communicate with other team members and perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of all equipment.
• Perform required safety audits of the vehicle (daily safety audits, weekly brake inspections, crane inspections).
• Report promptly any malfunctioning equipment or accidents/incidents as required by federal and state regulations.
• Write legibly on all materials and maintain proper documentation.
• Annually update driver’s qualification file, provide required paperwork, and scan for dispatch.
• Ensure that all material transported on the truck has a delivery packet—truss layout, truss engineering, and delivery ticket.
• Provide feedback related to customers, job sites, and issues.
• Read and follow delivery instructions, contact customers before the next delivery, and establish good relationships with sales team.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Assist team members with work when appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Class A CDL required with air‑brake endorsement.
• Current NCCCO certification.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage time and routes for streamlined delivery.
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications.
• Driving experience within a 50‑mile radius of the primary location preferred.

• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and walk.
