Bus Driver

Multiple Positions Available

School Bus Driver position with the Lake Washington School District. Base rate: $37.61 per hour. Eligible for membership in the Teamsters Local Union No. 763, part of the Lake Washington School District Trades Bargaining Council No. 763 (TBC). Calendar: 180 days. Training begins July 20 2026.

School bus drivers play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students. As the first and last district employees students encounter each day, drivers provide transportation for regular routes, field trips, and other activities.

The District is accepting applications on an ongoing basis. Interviews will be scheduled in May and June, and finalists will be contacted for an interview. Positions will be filled from the applicant pool as openings occur.

• 25 years of age or older
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License Permit before training
• Ability to pass a Federal DOT medical evaluation
