This is a full-time, on-site Construction Foreman role based in Redondo Beach, CA. The Construction Foreman will oversee daily field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans, organizing materials and equipment, monitoring progress, and resolving site issues as they arise. The role will also involve conducting safety meetings, enforcing site safety protocols, and documenting daily activities and production.
The Construction Foreman will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients to support efficient and compliant project delivery.
- Strong technical skills in Construction and hands-on construction practices relevant to commercial projects.
- Experience with Quality Control, including inspecting workmanship, verifying compliance with plans and specifications, and addressing deficiencies.
- Working knowledge of Heavy Equipment operations, logistics, and coordination with operators to maintain safe and efficient workflows.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear direction to crews, collaboration with project stakeholders, and accurate reporting.
- Familiarity with Civil Engineering concepts related to site work, grading, utilities, and structural coordination is preferred.
- Previous experience as a foreman, superintendent, or lead in commercial construction environments.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage schedules, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced field setting.
- Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance; OSHA training or certification is a plus.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and project documents; basic proficiency with construction technology tools and software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, trade certifications, or a construction-related degree is advantageous.
