Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join Mycronic's Global Technologies division working within our Applied Plasma business line (Surfx Technologies). This role involves contributing to the design, prototyping, testing, and optimization of complex electromechanical systems for atmospheric argon plasma machines used in integrated circuit manufacturing.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help bring innovative products from concept to production in a dynamic hardware development and manufacturing environment.

• Communicate clear project status at every stage from PO entry to arrival at customer dock
• Develop software design and 3D CAD models
• Generate accurate 2D manufacturing drawings complete with dimensions, material specifications, and geometric dimensioning
• Set up physical tests (thermal, structural) to ensure success under real world conditions
• Build and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to support continuous product improvements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0–3 years of relevant experience
• Skilled in communication across global time zones
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Standard office environment with significant computer work. Regularly required to talk or hear, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and occasionally stand, walk, sit, and reach. Vision requirements include close and distance vision with ability to adjust focus. Noise level usually low to moderate.
