Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking an Avionics Mechanical Engineering Intern to design, manufacture, and test mechanical elements of spacecraft avionics. You will collaborate with electrical, propulsion, GNC, and vehicle-structures engineers to optimize architectures and performance.
This on-site internship runs from September to December 2026. Responsibilities include CAD-based design, design reviews, manufacturability, supplier coordination, hand calculations and FEA, and documentation
