Position Overview
Internexus Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant teaching experience and a strong commitment to enhancing the language skills of our diverse student body. This position requires in-person instruction at our Redondo Beach campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' language proficiency levels.
- Teach English language classes, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- TESOL certificate (or equivalent) is required.
- Significant teaching experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology in the classroom.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- This position requires in-person teaching at our Redondo Beach campus.
- Flexible schedule availability may be required.
