Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a International Trade Compliance Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

• Assures Division export / import program complies with U.S. government regulations and internal procedures
• Manages a team of global trade professionals of varying levels of experience
• Serves as Lead Empowered Official
• Represents Division on complex contracts or projects associated with export and import regulations and company policy
• Proficient in assessment and application of export and import regulations and commodity jurisdiction and classification determinations
• Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant and sensitive matters
• Maintains applicable trade compliance records and provides reports in accordance with various regulatory requirements and international trade agreements
• Oversees division metrics supporting corporate and sector executive leadership reporting
• Represents the Division in initiatives and projects
• Exercises good judgment seeking leadership support and guidance, including collaborating on decisions that have high visibility or impact potential

• Must have one of the following:
  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years of international trade compliance (export, import and/or customs) experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 plus years of international trade compliance experience
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of international trade compliance experience
• Proficiency in the ITAR and EAR, including making jurisdiction and classification determinations
• Experience as an Empowered Official
• Experience in effectively applying U.S. Government regulatory requirements in complex scenarios, analyzing and solving complex problems
• Experience leading and managing a team
• Skilled at adapting to rapidly evolving priorities, with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedule and quality requirements, and exercise judgment about when to elevate potential…
