Yoh is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our medical device client. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming inventory and finished products meet established company quality standards. The Quality Control Inspector will perform incoming and outgoing inspections, review drawings and specifications, document inspection results, review Device History Records (DHRs), and support nonconformance and corrective action activities. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a regulated medical device environment.

Job Functions- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections using appropriate inspection methods, including comparing products to established standards, measuring dimensions, and evaluating functionality.
- Review drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation to verify products meet established quality requirements.
- Record inspection results, complete inspection reports, and enter quality data into applicable databases.
- Review manufacturing Device History Records (DHRs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Collect, compile, and maintain statistical quality data.
- Assist with the development of test methods and inspection plans.
- Support monitoring of office and warehouse cleanliness.
- Monitor equipment usage to help ensure equipment is operated safely.
- Investigate product defects and assist in determining root cause.
- Identify and appropriately disposition products that do not meet established quality requirements.
- Prepare Certificates of Compliance (CoC), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and recommending opportunities to improve production and Quality processes.
- Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Quality Control or related experience.
- Familiarity with Quality Control inspection processes utilizing AQL sampling.
- Familiarity with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
- Knowledge of medical device industry standards and regulations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clear and effective reading and writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Experience with the Qualio electronic filing system and Net Suite ERP is a plus.
Job Requirements
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, onsite work environment.
- Work may include both office and warehouse environments while performing or supporting Quality Control activities.
- Regular use of computers, inspection tools, measurement equipment, and other standard Quality Control equipment.
- Ability to visually inspect products and compare finished goods against drawings, specifications, and established standards.
- Ability to perform detailed inspection and documentation activities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
