Retail Sales Support - South Bay Marketplace Rack

Overview

Nordstrom Rack is hiring for several in‑store roles:
Sales, Customer Service, Stock and Fulfillment. Team members collaborate to create an inclusive environment, keeping the sales floor and stockrooms clean, organized and stocked. The role requires flexibility to work across different store areas and to handle a variety of tasks, from cashiering to freight handling.

• Maintain a neat, clutter‑free sales floor and stockrooms; keep merchandise organized and accurately ticketed.
• Assist customers at the point of sale, handling transactions on in‑store, online and mobile platforms, bagging items of all sizes, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Support fitting room service by greeting customers, aiding fit testing, and restocking returned items.
• Demonstrate proficiency with all in‑store technologies and adhere to operational, merchandising and asset‑protection standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards and other in‑store initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
• Receive, unload, unpack and deliver freight to the appropriate departments; use inventory management systems to scan and process merchandise shipments.
• Fulfill customer orders promptly, preparing and shipping orders with care and quality.
• Provide general store support, such as setting up special events, organizing markdowns, relocating fixtures, and maintaining proper floor layout.
• Work variable shifts, including late evenings and overnight hours, and on weekends.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; clear, effective communication with customers and teammates.
• Accountability, initiative and ownership of tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for 6‑8 hours per shift, frequently bend, twist, squat, reach, lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs for stock/fulfillment tasks), and handle heavy items.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs, including overnight and weekend shifts.

$18.85 - $19.65 per hour

Shifts can start as early as 4am and run until 11pm, Monday–Sunday (including weekends).
