Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking a Software Development I&T Engineer
- Level 3/4 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA.

Please be aware that this position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding. Furthermore, this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

In this role, you will have experience in software engineering and development across the full software life cycle and experience working with Dev Sec Ops  processes and cloud platforms. You will design, develop, document, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain applications software for Ground Segment Functions for the iC2 system, supporting the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and will be expected to operate independently with little oversight in a dynamic environment.

You will be highly self‑motivated, reporting information to leads and the customer. You will be expected to handle diverse assignments with efficiency, finding unique solutions and working in a very collaborative and fast‑paced environment that continues to grow.

• Implement applications software using server‑side program languages in Python, C++, Node.js, and Go in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Design, develop, and govern high‑performance services (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and enterprise‑level asynchronous messaging (NATS, ActiveMQ) for satellite ground software solutions.
• Utilize Atlassian tool suite, including Jira dashboards, Confluence knowledge bases, eazyBI reports, custom JQL queries.
• Execute program tasking and software development using Agile methodologies, cloud platforms, SQL or No
  
  SQL database systems, scalable database schemas and optimized queries.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration, enabling timely development and deployment of satellite ground software solutions.
• Own development and execution of features for satellite ground systems domain, with familiarity in reading CAMEO/MBSE models.
• Coordinate and execute integration and testing activities to ensure software components function cohesively within the system.
• Work closely with other teams to integrate software features as they are completed, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

  Master's degree with 3+ years of stated experience;
