• Hourly Range: $28.16

• Coordinate transportation activities between our main production facility, third party vendors and LAX Airport
• Manage on time delivery of products, goods and services
• Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate transportation activities
• Monitor all aircraft arrival/departure timings and other operational updates
• Supervise, motivate, and assist a large team of drivers and driver helpers (including schedules and documentation)
• Comply with all LAX, CBP, DOT and all other applicable rules/regulations
• Receive important incoming calls/information from airline clients and the airport and communicate it to respective departments
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
• Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
• Ensure all vehicles are in working condition (i.e. compliance, fueling, maintenance)
• Process all meal ordering information and reassure prompt and correct distribution to all departments involved
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
• Upkeep and maintain food safety

• Min. 1-2 years of work experience
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent planning and coordination skills
• Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills
  
  Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service
• Solution seeker and effective decision maker
• Hands‑on in order to make sure all flights are successfully dispatched on time
• The ability to manage quickly to overcome any deficiencies in the transportation department
• Requirements necessary to obtain a LAWA Airport  a Drivers Icon and CBP Icon
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
