Delivery Truck Driver - CDL

Job Overview

Ferguson is looking for a delivery truck driver to transport materials to customers across our service area. The position requires a valid CDL, a minimum age of 21, and a background check.

Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm plus overtime as needed and 1 Saturday per month 7:30 am – 11:30 am.

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain CDL qualifications and DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage.
• Must wear safety harness capable of supporting 400 lbs. maximum weight.

• Deliver materials to customers, using pallet jack and two‑wheel dolly to load and unload, ensuring delivery ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and use of PPE.
