- Perform monthly/quarterly revenue accounting close activities, including revenue analysis, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Execute monthly/quarterly Order-to-Cash controls across all revenue streams
- Reconcile transactions across subledgers, business intelligence platforms, and the ERP system
- Investigate and resolve daily inquiries on unusual revenue transactions with cross-functional teams
- Support system enhancements, API implementations, and process automation related to revenue processes
- Reconcile internal and external data to posted accounting balances
- Support new product and marketing program launches through system configuration and testing, ensuring ASC 606 compliance
- Assist with SOX implementation and maintain SOX 404 control compliance
- Support internal and external audits and ad hoc projects
- Partner with Finance Systems, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- CPA highly recommended
- Working knowledge of current GAAP standards, including ASC 606
- 3–5+ years of Order-to-Cash, revenue, or related accounting experience
- Experience with revenue recognition software (Leapfin) and BI tool (Looker)
- Experience with Net Suite or an equivalent ERP system
- Experience with system implementations, integrations, or process automation projects
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High degree of confidentiality, integrity, and judgment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work from the Redwood City office three days per week
Demonstrates expertise in revenue accounting processes, including monthly and quarterly close activities, revenue recognition compliance with ASC 606, and proficiency in ERP systems like Net Suite. Strong analytical skills are essential for reconciling transactions and supporting system enhancements and process automation.
