Team

and Role

The Tax Department manages Equinix's global tax issues and income tax accounting for financial statement purposes, as well as tax compliance (filing) requirements. The xScale Direct Tax Team is responsible for the Corporate Income Tax ("CIT") and Withholding Tax reporting, accounting, and compliance for all xScale joint venture entities (17 countries). The intern role will support the Team over Summer 2026.

Assignments

and Responsibilities
  • Preparing information for tax computations to external tax authorities
  • Preparing quarterly tax provision packages, checking of tax payables with preparation of roll-forward schedules, calculation of deferred tax, etc.
  • Preparing tax depreciation schedules
  • Other ad-hoc tax related matters

Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications)
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor's or master's degree studies – Tax, Finance & Accounting, Economics students being preferred.
  • Graduation between December 2026 and September 2027.
  • Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between June and August, depending on your school system).
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English.
  • Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others.
  • Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (with a focus on Excel) and aptitude to learn new tools.
