The Solutions Architect is part of the Customer Success organization and the Box Consulting team, working across Box and with customers to define and build out complex solutions. This high‑impact, high‑visibility role ensures customer satisfaction while promoting Box technical and platform solutions. You will play a critical role in building and sustaining customer and partner relationships, driving adoption of the Box product and platform, and working closely with sales and field teams to maximize opportunities by understanding customer needs, envisioning a future state, and helping customers get there.

Typical duties include advising enterprises on how to design applications for custom document vaults, helping customers migrate millions of files into Box, and integrating Box into custom CRM systems.

You confidently present detailed technical information to executives and all levels, have an understanding of REST APIs and JSON, and can distill complex solutions into their essential parts.

With your technical and functional expertise, you guide conversations that lead to solution architecture design and strategy, handle in‑depth technical questions during meetings and sales calls, and develop project scope documentation, statements of work, technical specifications, and business requirements related to customer engagements. At the end of the day, you are seen as the trusted advisor aligned to customer business cases and strategy, owning the development and delivery of differentiated custom solutions.

• 5+ years of development, consulting, or professional services experience
• Experience working in dynamic environments where ambiguity is common and ability to speak to both technical and non‑technical parties
• Expertise in architecture and system design for cloud solutions (API, Dev Ops, infrastructure, middleware, scale limits, rate limits, etc.)
• Experience with Python, Type Script, Node.js (MEAN stack), Java, .NET, Visualforce
• Establish technical delivery expertise based on market trends, research, and customer requirements; lead pre‑sales scoping and delivery of repeatable technical solutions
• Develop and deliver repeatable solutions that serve as an industry playbook for repeated success and best practices
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success stakeholders to execute a successful go‑to‑market strategy
• Accurately forecast capacity and deliver upon revenue targets
• Team with Solutions Consultants to support booking target attainment
• Drivers license may be required if you are asked to visit clients onsite

• Expertise in Enterprise Content Management systems and cloud migrations

United States Pay Range: $142,000 – $170,000 USD
