AV Support Technician

Monday–Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
12 month contract (likely extension or conversion)

Role OverviewWe're looking for an AV-focused support professional who thrives in a service‑oriented, fast‑moving environment. This role centers on maintaining meeting spaces, supporting live and hybrid events, and ensuring employees have a seamless experience with collaboration technology.
Top Skill Requirements- 3-5+ years of experience in AV support for:
- Live events and meeting spaces, including set up, live support, and break down
- Maintaining and sweeping conference rooms (testing conference room AV devices daily)
- Helping with support tickets for conference room issues throughout the workday
- Excellent communication and professionalism; working with top leadership, Executives, and external clients/guests
- Deliver exceptional support by creating a positive, solutions‑driven experience for internal teams.
- Oversee daily readiness of conference rooms and event spaces, addressing both functional and cosmetic issues promptly.
- Provide hands-on support for live, virtual, and hybrid events across varying levels of complexity.
- Manage incoming requests by triaging AV‑related tickets and coordinating with stakeholders ahead of meetings.
- Maintain and improve documentation related to AV standards, workflows, and room operations.
- Travel occasionally to nearby office locations in the San Francisco Bay Area to support onsite needs.
- 3-5+ years of experience in AV support for events and meeting spaces
- Experience managing the AV for live events, including set up, live support, and break down
- Experience with video conferencing platforms in both user support and basic administration.
- Familiarity with in‑room collaboration systems and the hardware/software that powers them.
- Direct involvement in live or hybrid event production.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain composed during high‑pressure situations.
- Comfort communicating with diverse audiences, from technical teams to non‑technical staff.
- Customer service or IT support experience in a professional environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and structured support workflows.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
