Job Title:
IT Technician (Temporary | Immediate Start)
Are you a tech-savvy professional with a knack for troubleshooting Apple and Chromebook devices? We’re seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join a fast-paced educational environment. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across several schools in San Jose, helping ensure seamless technology experiences for students and staff. If you thrive in a dynamic setting, enjoy travel between locations, and can start immediately, this is the perfect role for you!
Required Skills:- Proven experience troubleshooting Macs and Chromebooks
- Ability to resolve mirroring issues to TV screens
- Proficiency in laptop replacement and hardware troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of network configurations
- Familiarity with classroom AV equipment
- Experience working in educational environments
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or higher
- Prior experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting, especially in school settings
- Must own a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel between schools in San Jose
- No mileage reimbursement available; travel is limited to one school per day as determined by the supervisor
- Start date:
ASAP, next week - Work hours:
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, approximately 30-40 hours per week - Duration: 4-8 weeks, with possibility for extension or conversion to permanent hire
