Our Grey Matter platform orchestrates robots, people, and systems in real time across some of the most complex fulfillment environments in the world. We are now expanding our Foundry platform, a simulation and layout design product that enables customers to model, design, and better understand warehouse automation systems before deployment.
Role OverviewGrey Matter development relies directly on our ability to understand the environments in which our systems operate, discover challenging operational scenarios, and simulate them digitally s allows us to accelerate warehouse design, evaluate throughput, and provide a sandbox for testing and iterating on new algorithms. These simulation and modeling capabilities are critical to our platform.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our simulation and layout design platform (Foundry) for warehouse automation environments. This is a highly technical product management role focused on building sophisticated simulation capabilities that help customers model operational flows, optimize robot utilization, and design warehouse automation systems.
The ideal candidate has experience with simulation-heavy products and understands how to translate complex operational and engineering concepts into intuitive product experiences. You will work at the intersection of robotics, operational planning, simulation, and technical product management to define and scale a product that enables customers to self-design and validate warehouse automation solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical, 0→1 environments and enjoys solving complex operational problems through simulation, modeling, and product design.
What You’ll Do- Own the Foundry simulation & replay product area focused on warehouse automation and layout design
- Help evolve the product from proof of concept into a scalable customer-facing platform
- Partner closely with Engineering and technical stakeholders in a technical, engineering-heavy environment
- Operate with a high degree of ownership in a 0→1 product environment
- Define product capabilities that help customers self-design warehouse automation systems based on their operational parameters
- Build workflows that model inventory distribution, robot movement, traffic flow, and operational constraints across warehouse environments
- Support simulation use cases such as comparing operational outcomes across different robot fleet sizes and configurations
- Develop “what-if” simulation capabilities that allow users to test and understand operational outcomes under different scenarios
- Help define systems capable of supporting large numbers of configurable parameters and variable combinations
- Work on products that require real-time operational calculations and highly complex simulation logic
- Define intuitive user experiences that help customers prioritize the most important operational information
- Help shape how simulation outputs, layouts, and operational flows are visualized within the product
- Support capabilities around map creation, layout design, and visualization of product flow
- Contribute to product functionality that helps estimate operational costs across different warehouse areas and activities
- Work closely with end customers, engineering and technical teams to translate complex simulation requirements into product functionality
- Partner with stakeholders to understand operational planning and simulation needs
- Help drive prioritization and product decisions in a technically complex environment
