We in University IT are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Reports Developer to join our dynamic Data Analytics & Reporting team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience as an engineer or developer utilizing Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI / FAW), BI Publisher (BIP). In this role, you will participate in core reporting efforts while actively driving explorative initiatives and project integration leveraging AI capabilities within modern analytics platforms.
Responsibilities- OAC & OTBI Architecture:
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-grade dashboards, data models, custom subject areas, and interactive analytics using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and OTBI as primary reporting solutions. - AI & Exploratory Analytics:
Spearhead explorative projects evaluating and implementing AI features, machine learning capabilities, and automated insights within OAC/OAS to augment predictive and self-service analytics. - Multi-Platform Data Engineering:
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex reporting data models, queries, and integrations across BIP, OAS, FDI, and Informatica. - Performance Tuning & Data Governance:
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, optimize SQL and data transformations, validate data accuracy, and enforce strict role-based data security standards. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with team members to collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable technical specifications, reporting solutions, and end-user documentation. - Platform Upgrades & Support:
Assist in data validation, system testing, and continuous delivery during regular Oracle Cloud release and patch cycles.
- Technical Breadth:
Proven experience in developer/engineer roles working with OAC, OAS, OTBI, FDI (FAW), BI Publisher (BIP), Informatica, and Tableau. - AI Features:
Hands-on experience or active project implementation leveraging AI/ML capabilities, predictive analytics, or natural language querying in analytics platforms (OAC/OAS). - Database & SQL:
Deep proficiency in complex SQL querying, data modeling, relational databases, and ETL/data integration practices. - Problem Solving & Communication:
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in an iterative environment and articulate technical concepts to functional teams.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) dashboard development and data visualization.
- Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) subject areas and metadata layers.
- Experience with BI Publisher (BIP) report templates and data models.
- Experience with AI features and advanced analytics integration within OAC/OAS.
- Experience with Data Modeling, Data Transformation, and Data Pipeline integration (Informatica).
- Experience with Cross-Platform Analytics (Tableau, OAS DV) a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience- 5+ years of working experience developing within the Oracle Cloud Applications & Analytics ecosystem.
- 7+ years of total experience working with Oracle databases, data integration, and reporting applications.
- Experience implementing and customizing Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) / Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
- Knowledge of REST APIs, ODI Data connectors, and modern API integration techniques.
- Professional certifications in Oracle Analytics Cloud, OAS, or related Oracle Cloud technologies.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies in large enterprise environments.
The expected pay range for this position is $152,535 to $168,000 per annum.
