Job Title: Senior Office / Facilities Manager
Location: Redwood City, CA
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days/week (Monday–Friday)
We're partnering with a growing, patient-centric biotech organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Office / Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day office operations and elevate the overall workplace experience.
This highly visible role will serve as the face of the office while also owning facilities coordination, vendor management, and workplace strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys creating an organized, welcoming, and high-functioning workspace that supports employee productivity and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary on-site lead and main point of contact for all workplace operations
- Oversee and enhance the employee and visitor experience, ensuring a polished, professional environment
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and building management, including contract oversight and issue resolution
- Lead facilities coordination, including maintenance, space planning support, office moves, and workplace improvements
- Own office operations processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
- Coordinate executive meetings, cross-functional gatherings, and external partner visits
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and leadership to support onboarding, events, and internal initiatives
- Manage workplace budgets, track expenses, and support cost optimization efforts
- Anticipate workplace needs and proactively solve operational challenges
- Mentor or provide guidance to junior administrative or workplace team members (if applicable)
- 5+ years of experience in workplace operations, office management, facilities coordination, or similar roles
- Experience owning vendor relationships and facilities-related initiatives
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to operate independently and take full ownership of workplace operations
- Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Redwood City, CA
