Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Food Manufacturing Technician to work on-site with our client, a top-tier sustainable food production company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and create product samples with researchers based on batch records and bill of materials (BOMs)
• Prepare, cook, and serve product samples for sensory testing
• Maintain lab/kitchen equipment (e.g., pH meter calibration, cook equipment cleaning and/or maintenance)
• Manage ingredient and consumables inventory of the test kitchen by tracking current supply, submitting orders, and restocking supplies
• Discard expired, unused ingredients and consumables
• Maintain regular communication with kitchen staff to coordinate inventory needs
• Submit purchase orders (POs) and work with vendors to restock consumables
• Ship, receive, and organize ingredients, product samples, and equipment
• Demonstrate excellent record keeping and accountability
• Voice ideas, concerns and solutions to teammates - if you see something, say something
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized and safe workplace

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; a university degree in a science-related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2+ years of industry experience in a lab, kitchen, or R&D setting
• Proficiency using Google Workspace required
• Capability of working in a fast-paced, dynamic team effectively, including excellent communication and organization skills
• Precision, attention to detail, and efficient multitasking ability
• A positive, motivated, and hardworking attitude with a genuine desire to be helpful
