Machinery​/Bagging Operator; PM Shift

Job Summary

Responsible for machinery operation and/or bagging operation for fruit in a packing facility.

Note:

This equipment is high volume and state‑of‑the‑art. Requires prior experience with touchscreens for speed control and operations.

• Preforms pre‑operation checklist prior to packing production
• Sets up machinery and monitors the production of machinery daily
• Notify and submit maintenance request to supervisor for any maintenance issues
• Ensures that the machinery is operating properly and safely
• Loads bags, boxes, or other items into machinery to keep up with production
• Works safely and follows proper protocols for starting, stopping, and operating machinery
• Using a touch screen, make daily adjustments to machinery/bagging to control speeds, timing, and other items
• Other duties, will be assigned

• Ability to work well in a team‑based environment
• Ability to produce results in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with basic computer skills

Pay Range: ($16.90 min - $17.50 max)/hour

This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above. If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
