Overview

Adventist Health Reedley has been serving the Central Valley since 2011. The system includes a 49-bed acute care hospital and 60 clinics across 27 rural communities, providing primary and specialty care. Reedley is located in the central San Joaquin Valley, close to Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Maintains responsibility for providing expert clinical care in general or specialty areas. Assesses, plans, and delivers patient care in collaboration with attending physicians. Provides comprehensive health assessments, performs diagnoses of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions, and formulates treatment plans. Assists in medical/surgical care of patients and evaluates responses in partnership with attending/consulting physicians.

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP):

• Two years' relevant clinical experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice:

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy:

• AHA‑BLS or ARC‑BLS or AHA‑CPR or ARC‑CPR:
  Required

• Interview patients, employees or family members to construct comprehensive medical histories and perform initial and periodic physical examinations.
• Provides patient education, explains diagnoses and treatment, obtains informed consent, and outlines preventive care and health maintenance.
• Directly performs or orders diagnostic studies, interprets results, and provides continuity of care, including medication administration and follow‑up of acute and chronic conditions.
• Maintains accurate, legible documentation of patient care and records, as well as medication orders and treatment plans, under the scope of practice of a nurse practitioner.
• Applies cost‑containment measures by prescribing necessary medications, favoring generics when appropriate, and limiting referrals and diagnostic studies to those clinically required.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

Pay Range:
Base pay $132,384 to $198,577. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. A comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
