Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2105.28/week -

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care for emergency room patients, ensuring prompt attention and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment. Supervises and coordinates care delivery with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining clinical standards and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival, collecting relevant health data to determine immediate needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating outcomes and adjusting care strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health management, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and organize workload to optimize patient throughput.

Qualifications:

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency nursing.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor is required.
• AHA-ACLS and ARC-ALS certifications are required.
• PALS certification from an approved organization is required.
• EPIC experience is preferred.
