Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides urgent and compassionate nursing care in the Emergency Room, ensuring prompt treatment and patient safety. Supervises nursing staff, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and applies critical thinking to meet patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with clinical protocols.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately to ensure efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to facilitate seamless patient management.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and health maintenance.
• Perform ongoing evaluation of patient progress and adjust care interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have a minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Maintain additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS from authorized providers.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
