Forklift Operator

The Forklift Driver will be responsible for driving a forklift, bringing cores to the machines, and supporting day-to-day production activity.

We have multiple 2nd and 3rd shift openings in multiple departments.

• Operate power forklift to transport materials, distribute and organize castings, patterns, cores, etc. in assigned areas, as necessary.
• Examine gauges as appropriate to make sure the truck is operating properly.
• Report any truck problems to supervisor.
• Perform daily forklift condition audit by completing the daily forklift check sheets and forwarding them to supervisor.
• Ensure that the product is being packed into proper shipping containers.
• Complete inventory tickets and routing forms as required.
• Itemize data and input into inventory database, as necessary.
• Utilize delay time constructively by doing housekeeping or other area improvement activities.

• Previous Forklift Experience is required.
