Location: Moose Jaw
The Ministry of Social Services, Community Living Service Delivery, is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough and highly-organized individual to process and issue payments related to Ministry programs.
The successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment in which a high volume of payments must be processed in an efficient and time sensitive manner. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and must display a professional demeanor when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
receiving and logging incoming documentation
verification of information
data entry
processing payments
payment reconciliations and audits
production of correspondence and reports
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to respond quickly to a high volume of phone calls and e-mails regarding program enquiries and payments.
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be obtained through post-secondary training in Office Education, Accounting or Business Administration of at least one year, or an equivalent combination of knowledge and experience. Experience and proficiency in SWIN is an asset;
Word, Excel, Access and Outlook experience and proficiency are required.
