Tourmaline Oil Corp. is Canada’s largest natural gas producer and a leading operator in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. We are focused on long-term growth through an active exploration, development, production, and acquisition program.

We are currently seeking a Drilling Administrator to join our Calgary office.

Reporting to the Manager, Drilling Operations, the Drilling Administrator plays a key role in supporting drilling operations through regulatory administration, data management, invoice processing, and operational coordination. This is a full‑time, office‑based position with occasional after‑hours support required for time‑sensitive operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit regulatory applications, notifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate required reporting and maintain awareness of regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain well records, operational databases, and electronic documentation.
  • Manage filing systems, SharePoint content, and distribution of operational information.
  • Process field tickets and invoices, verify supporting documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Liaise with vendors and support invoice‑related processes and training.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, contractor records, and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with training materials, team events, and general administrative support for the Drilling Operations team.
  • Perform other administrative and operational support duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 1–5 years of administrative, operations support, or oil and gas industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Wellview, Open Invoice, or similar industry systems is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational workplace.
