Acquiring these consultants is the main purpose of our Talent Acquisition department. With practices in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg, Paradigm provides business and information technology services to organizations across North America since 1990. We offer our customers a wide range of IT and business consulting services.

Position

Talent Acquisition Specialist – Regina or Winnipeg. This dynamic and energetic individual will be part of an already high performing team of professionals committed to helping our customers get the most from their investments in business processes and information technology.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with the consulting community in Canada.
  • Maintain close relationships with the business development teams to support the opportunity sales cycle.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in consultant sourcing techniques, applicant tracking systems, social media and passive sourcing.
  • Review and assess candidates based on identified requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient shortlist of candidates using pre‑screening interviews.
  • Utilize multiple interview techniques and formats such as formal/informal, telephone, MS Teams, group and technical.
  • Leverage in‑house subject management experts in multiple competencies to identify and validate high quality candidates.
  • Ensure successful candidates are introduced to the sales cycle.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the recruiting processes.
  • Identify new channels for paradigm recruitment.
  • Complete industry/market analysis reports.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition department with job fairs, career events and attending these events to market our department.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated recruiting experience in professional services and information technology.
  • Certifications in recruiting, staffing or human resources are an asset.
  • Existing personal relationships or professional association memberships in Regina related to professional services/IT.
  • Formal educational certificate, diploma or degree in human resources, business or information technology.
  • Full life cycle recruitment experience.
  • Coordinate various recruiting activities (face‑to‑face or virtual).
  • Create a pool of local talent in various roles such as Project Managers, Developers, Architects, Analysts, Testers and OCMs.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on requisition status.
  • Participate in client update meetings and represent the service to stakeholders as required.
  • Monitor recruitment process and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and online job posting sites.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Access to a strong Wi‑Fi connection to work remotely should the need arise.
