The Opportunity
We are looking for a detailed oriented Surface Land Analyst to join our team in our Regina office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in the land services industry. This position will play a key role in managing surface land assets with accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
Identify surface rights for specific energy projects
Conduct research and analysis on land titles, ownership, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of land agreements, leases, and contracts.
Review survey plans, confirm project requirements and identify directly and indirectly affected parties and potential risks
Prepare supporting land documents such as third-party notifications, crossing, proximity, road use requests, contact reports, acquisition reports, landowner line lists, public consultation reports and reports summarizing status and progress of same
Prepare and submit applications and required consents and documents for the acquisition of Crown lands, well sites, pipelines, amendments and renewals
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with project timelines and objectives.
Prepare and update client and project status reports ensuring accuracy, communication internally and externally with clients regarding project status and updates
Maintain accurate records and databases of land-related information.
Prepare final packages in compliance with company and client standards
Contribute to the development of systems, processes, and tools to enhance consistency, efficiency, and accuracy of acquisition and administration services to clients.
Provide administrative support to the land management team as needed.
What We Are Looking For
Experience with ISC, Traverse, Welltraxx, Tressl, Teranet, Abadata
Strong analytical and research skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately prepare and review legal documents
Understanding of basic land processes, or the ability to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills (clear, professional, and confident)
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple files effectively
Reliable, with strong follow-through on tasks
Proficiency with Excel, trackers, and project management systems (e.g., )
