Position: Crude Oil Analyst Role
Join the team at Co-op Refinery Complex as a Crude Oil Analyst, located in Regina, SK. This permanent position emphasizes on-site collaboration to drive successful trading with data analytics.

In the Supply & Distribution team, you'll be focused on providing insights through pricing analysis, forecasting models, and data-driven reports. Candidates should possess 1-3 years of relevant analytical experience and ideally hold a degree in Business or Commerce. Your detail-oriented nature and analytical skills will be key to resolving discrepancies and improving trading processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain monthly estimates for crude oil and natural gas

• Track pricing with historical WTI models for accuracy

• Analyze supply and demand for Western Canadian crude

• Proactively monitor receipts and inventories

• Review lab data to assess crude oil quality trends

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in analytics or logistics

• Preferred University Degree in Business or Commerce

• Analytical mindset with strong data handling skills

• Competence in price tracking and trend analysis

• Experience in documenting contracts thoroughly
